When you are attuned to the animals, they will come to you in dreams and in your meditations. This is a dream I had while meditating to music. I was kissed by a manatee during an empowerment. Therefore it was no surprise that a manatee appeared.
First, the orcas (killer whales) waltzed about in a circle. They spy hopped, dove, and tail-walked in unison. Turning one-way and then another, the orcas’ black and white bodies flashed in the bright sunshine.
Then a pod of dolphins appeared, and leaped over the dancing orcas. They formed a circle within the orcas’ circle. The orcas swam in one direction, while the dolphins swam counter-clockwise.The dolphins were tail dancing and diving in unison with the orcas.
Then a dolphin popped out of the water with a colored ribbon. As each one dove, they popped out of the water with a ribbon in their mouths. The dolphins and orcas waltzed back and forth waving the rainbow ribbons. Then they danced in a giant daisy chain. Over and under, under and over, in a brightly colored tapestry, they wove the ribbons tighter and tighter.
Suddenly, they bounced a manatee in the air, with their tapestry. Up and down somersaulted the manatee. Bouncing higher and higher, the manatee vanished into the sun.
The orcas and dolphins did their ribbon dance, back and forth, over and under. The tapestry vanished into the sunlight. Then everyone returned to synchronized swimming, ending in a tail stand. Suddenly the manatee popped out of the middle of the circles, twirling about and standing straight up.
The music ended and everyone dispersed to their own pods and coves. The sun set on their beautiful colored bodies. I felt peace and joy after this meditation.
