Active at night, Ghost Crab scavenges on warm, sandy beaches. Ghost Crab's coloring matches the beach sand. Not only that, His pale undersides counteracts the shadow cast by the moon. To have no form, Ghost Crab eliminates His shadow by squatting on the sand. Since Ghost Crab blends into His surroundings so well, He seems to vanish. Because of His almost perfect camouflage, He is called Ghost Crab.
A resourceful opportunist, Ghost Crab can move incredibility quickly. His light shell and long legs allows Him to move with great speed. Scuttling sideways fast, Ghost Crab can evade His predators.
Ghost Crab evades trouble by becoming ghostlike. Sometimes being nearly invisible can be a good thing. Be careful, though, not to lose your substance entirely and become a ghost.
